Leaves are ovate to elliptical with large petioles. Veins are very prominent on the leaves.
Leaf surface is waxy with a few hairs. Blade margins get wavy with age. |

White flowers are produced on long leafless stalks. Fruits are small, brown capsules containing up to 30 seeds. |
